The Cafe

Cafe

Cargo Road Winery operates a simple Cafe that is open weekends and public holidays between 11am and 5pm. The Cafe serves light meals and Toby's Estate coffee.

The Cafe is an ideal place to spend an afternoon with great views over the vineyard. It is available at other times by appointment for special events.

We are actually seeking a partner to run the cafe. Details are below under "Business Opportunity".

The Gallery

TANYA LOVIZ ART is on display in our gallery and NOW on our LABELS.

Over the years Tanya has created many paintings inspired by the “OLD CARGO ROAD” that actually runs through the winery. It is a beautiful walk, especially at sunset.

“The shadows of voluptuous classic cars and scrumptious wines, vines and damn good times, will boomerang me back continuously to paint this grand old winery.”

All the images shown are available as prints, cards and even some originals can still be purchased at the winery.

BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY

A business opportunity exists for the Cafe/Restaurant & Art Gallery. Cargo Road Wines management is seeking a partner to develop the Cafe/Restaurant.

Currently the Cafe is operating Saturdays and Sundays between 11am and 5pm and there is a gallery launch once a month.

As well as weekend openings, the Cafe offers opportunities for hosting weddings, functions, parties, business meetings, etc. There is also an existing BBQ area.

View

The Cafe is located in the middle of the vineyard with views unmatched by any other business currently in the region. Attached is a cellar door tasting room with hand made rock wall that needs to be seen. On top of all this, the building is part of a working winery.

Current management is young, enthusiastic and eager to develop the Cafe through a symbiotic business relationship. Whoever takes on this opportunity will see the potential to develop a very strong business with goodwill already in place, and a developing wine tourism industry in the region.

Contact James Sweetapple for more information and to arrange an inspection.
